pass hunter updates
i recently made some more decisions about my pass hunter build, and really started putting it together. yesterday morning, i changed the freehub driver from an xd to hg, installed the cassette, and fitted the wheels on the bike for the first time. things that are left to do are:
- cut down the steerer tube and install the star nut
- run brake cable & housing
- run shifter cable & housing
- install the chain
- dial in shifting
- wrap the bars
- rip it up
i am very excited to take this bike out. it looks hot, and i want to roll through the woods with it.
minor regrets
i just realized that we totally forgot about a birthday party we were supposed to attend yesterday :( i will have to send an apology text.
feed curation
idk how i have made it this long with out setting up an rss reader, but i finally did it. i made accounts with both feedly and inoreader, but have (for now) focused on feedly as it is slightly more intuitive. i'm gonna use it for a month, and then evaluate if i want to try inoreader for real. i look forward to having all of the media sources i follow in one spot.
project managing
i am learning i need to invest in a pad of poster paper or those big ass sticky notes you see at workshops. being able to get big picture stuff out on in front of me has proven to be a big help, especially when its collaborative. when its just for me, i can get away with a notebook, but bigger is often helpful. there's probably a neat digital solution, but kat and i would both have to learn it and that simply will not happen.
